ROAD CONSTRUCTION WORKS
One of the Important activities of the company in the construction departments is the construction and asphalt paving of roads. A large part of the road network in Western and Central Macedonia has been asphalt paved by ERGOKAT. The road construction and asphalt paving works are being branched out into the private sector with work constructions and space formation.
Especially in the asphalt paving department, ERGOKAT is keeping ahead of the competitors, having powerful competitive advantages due to its autonomy in the material department and is up-to-the-minute asphalt mixture production equipment, with rich rapid asphaltpaving is achieved (much more rapid than usual) and by extension lower cost.
HYDRAULIC WORKS
The department of hydraulic works has specialized demands, mainly due to the delicate environmental balances that have to be maintained. ERGOKAT, having the know-how, experienced workforce and advanced equipment, guarantees high effectiveness in any hydraulic work, by constructing.

BUILDING WORKS
The many years’ experience of the technical workforce of the building work department of ERGOKAT guarantees quality and safety in any work constructed by the company.
Having crews of all categories of building works, it always cats according to the safety rules and the quality standards (ISO 9001:2000) on each stage for the construction, the building works that are delivered by ERGOKAT are distinguished by their functionality, design and durability.
Some of the works constructed by the company are:
Study and construction of 250 type a and b ground floor houses in the conventional construction manner in the Kozani Prefecture communities.
Public buildings.
Office and shop buildings.
MINING INERT MATTER
The production unit of Inert Matter was founded and functions in Ardassa Eordeas Ptolemaidas. The inert matter produced in the unit (which has maximum potentiality of 100tn/h) is absorbed almost exclusively by the company itself, but also by its affiliates, for the production of concrete, as well as fo the asphalt mixture production unit, a fact which essentially contributes to the verticalization of its productive activity and to the high competitiveness of its product sell prices.
The inert matter that is produced at the pit is: Sand, Gravel, Grit, 3A, Debris.
ASPHALT MIXTURE PRODUCTION
The asphalt mixture production unit is located in Ardassa Eordeas of the Kozani Prefecture and has a maximum productive potentially of 200 tn/h.
The raw materials used in the asphalt mixture production are inert matter of the company's own production and petroleum products (asphalt bought from the indigenous market or from some foreign country). The facilities of the asphalt mixture production are completely automated and every function is controlled by the central computer.
Also our company is the one and only producer of cold asphalt mixture which is used for repairing works on the road no matter what weather condition.
FINISHED CONCRETE PRODUCTION
The finished concrete production unit of ERGOKAT was founded and functions since 1993 in the industrial ARE of Florina. Nowadays, the unit has up-to-the-minute equipment for the production of finished concrete, completely in accordance with the new rules and the assigned specifications.
The unit has maximum potentiality of 60m3/h and its share of the local market comes up to 30%. The high and guaranteed quality of concrete is basically due to the high quality of the inert matter which is produced and use by the company itself.
The many year experience of the company, its organization and the modernization of the production machines, render it capable of meeting the constantly developing needs of the market for new types of products and offer to its clients excellent services and quality products.
PETROLEUM PRODCUT TRADING
ERGOKAT has a petroleum product trading license, which provides it with the potential to supply, store, distribute and trade asphalt. In the asphalt emulsion production unit, there is a storage space for 7.250 tons of petroleum products, split into three tanks. Utilizing the trading license and its storage areas, ERGOKAT has the potential to further develop its petroleum product trading activity, in its own area as well in the neighboring countries where the demand seems to be significantly great.
ASPHALT EMULSION PRODUCTION
The asphalt emulsion production unit was founded in 1995 in the Industrial Are of Florina. The unit functions in a privately owned 5.000 m^2 space that has the potential to store 6.000 tons of asphalt (petroleum products) and 500 tons of emulsion. It has the potential of producing a wide range of emulsions that covers all the needs of the market and are compatible with the international specifications ASTM, B5, DIN and the demands of the Ministry of Environment, Zoning and Public Works.
The ERGOKAT asphalt emulsion production unit has a maximum potentiality of 2,12 tn/h and produces mainly for the needs of the company in the execution of road construction works, releasing only small quantities to the market.
With extensive experience in polymer-modified bitumen (PMB) and similar advanced asphalt materials, we provide high-performance road solutions tailored to demanding conditions. PMB offers exceptional durability and flexibility, making it ideal for high-traffic roads and heavy-load areas. Its enhanced resistance to deformation, even under extreme temperature variations, ensures long-lasting performance and reduced maintenance costs.
